All villas will be constructed using steel, bamboo, teak wood, handwoven rattan, and high-performance architectural fabric from France, certified for sustainability and durability.
This is a project built with intention. The aesthetic is clean and functional—quiet luxury rooted in nature. Every structure is modular, low-impact, and engineered to last.
The project integrates regenerative values with hospitality performance. It will create over 100 jobs for local residents and offer pathways for training and career development. The project will incorporate waste separation, rainwater harvesting, energy-efficient systems, and a low-footprint operational model.

That’s why our landscaping partner Swarna Hutama Loka (SHL Asia) uses only indigenous plant species that naturally thrive in Nusa Penida’s climate without excessive watering, fertilisers, or disruption to the local ecosystem. This approach helps protect the island’s fragile biosphere, supports native wildlife, and prevents the spread of invasive species.

Their portfolio includes notable works such as Andaz Bali, Hyatt Regency Bali, and various luxury resorts and residences across Indonesia.
For CROSS Celesta Nusa Penida, SHL Asia developed a bespoke concept that reflects the spirit behind the name Celesta — a vision of harmony between the heavens and the earth. This design is deeply rooted in ancient Balinese traditions and rituals unique to the people of Nusa Penida, honoring the island’s spiritual heritage while delivering an elevated experience of luxury and connection to nature.
